The
Dust Tactics universe has quite a few strong female characters. And by strong female characters I mean ladies with lovely figures who wear tight fitting clothing, tote heavy weaponry as if it were the latest fashion and kick ass.
Master Sergeant Rosie Donvoan comes with the
Dust Tactics: Operation Cyclone Campaign Expansion. Her Bazooka adds anti-armour firepower to any Allied squad she joins and her 'Tank Head' ability allows her to repair damaged vehicles in the field.

Rosie was a fun miniature to paint, simple, quick and definitely stands out from the olive clad units she typically joins.
That is a frigging humungous bazooka she's carrying! And one-handed to boot. She must have serious arm strength. Still, lovely figure and very well painted, Adam.

ReplyDeleteAnd don't be silly about the weapon weight - surely it's made of advanced light weight materials. Weapons in sci fi are so large and armours so thick because they're so light that if they were any smaller, the owner would've mistaken them for toys!

ReplyDeleteThanks Simon. It's a pretty cool model and it does look pretty decent in contrast to the concept art, although I don't think the hair quite pulls off what they'd intended. I consdered re-modelling it but this time around I just decided to run with it.
